Have you been an Amazon customer for a while? Do you have a healthy collection of physical books you bought from Amazon's online store? Kindle MatchBook allows you to purchase the Kindle edition of qualifying titles for $2.99 or less (qualifying text books are available for $9.99 or less). Follow three easy steps to take advantage of MatchBook:
- Find a qualifying physical book. You can see if a book qualifies for MatchBook on its detail page, or you can search Amazon for Kindle MatchBook titles.
- Buy the physical book first.
- Then buy the Kindle edition for the discounted price.
Of course, you can see whether any of your previous purchases qualify for the discounted Kindle edition price.
Amazon announced MatchBook in September of last year with over 10,000 titles; they went live in October with over 70,000. Today, there are over 112,000 titles that qualify for Kindle MatchBook pricing.
